How to Set Up Your Quizmondo Player Account

You can start playing without signing up at all. Here is what an account adds, and how to make one in about two minutes with just a name and a six-digit PIN.
You do not need an account to play Quizmondo. Open the Arena and you are given a guest player straight away, with a name and an avatar, and you can answer questions immediately. An account matters when you want to keep what you earn.
What an account gives you
- Your XP and rank survive. A guest lives in your browser. Clear your cookies, switch to your phone, and that progress is gone.
- Duels find you again. Friends challenging you by link need somewhere to send the result.
- One identity everywhere. The same account works on your laptop, your phone and a pub table.
Making one
- Choose Quick Setup in the Arena header, or go to
/arena/register. - Pick a player name of at least three characters. This is what opponents see, so make it something you would enjoy seeing on a leaderboard.
- Add your email, which is only used to sign you back in.
- Set a six-digit PIN. It works like a phone passcode and is quicker than a password on a mobile keyboard.
If you were already playing as a guest, your XP comes with you rather than starting again.
Signing back in
Go to /arena/login and enter your player name or email with your PIN. Forgotten which name you used? The email works just as well.
Set up an account now or carry on as a guest and do it later.
